Today finds me walking through 'Summer in Summer'.
Late July sun burns hot, long and bright stirring up the Fire element in everyone
I am on day 25 of my personal cycle: the week reverently referred to as the "Fire-Walk" by the cycle-tracking sisterhood OR as the elusive and oft-feared "Pre-Menstrual [Time]" by those understanding it less well.
I share this with you because, being in tune with my lunar rhythm represents one of the simplest yet important ways that I practice "life-science/Ayurveda" or "self-care", and wanted to introduce the concept as soon as possible.
I was skimming the first chapter of "Your Money or Your Life (YMOYL)" this morning with an aim to either do some work on Step 1, or complete my discussion questions in the forum to prepare for our call on Thursday, but was both stopped and intrigued by the following passage:

Today I had the pleasure of meeting in virtual circle with physicians, physicians assistants, and nurse practitioners from all over the country, doing rad things to bring innovative, practical and effective healing to their communities.
Wow! What a way to get inspired!
In light of this sweet experience, I felt inclined to share the following story, which is actually the deep-seeded answer to a question I get all the time:
"What inspired you to become a doctor?"
As I write this I am 31 and have been a doctor for 6 years.
